DOMICILIUM AND BANK OF BERMUDA LAUNCH CLUBMAIL UNIQUE EMAIL SERVICES FOR ISLAND CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS

Domicilium, the Castletown based Internet Service Provider and Bank of Bermuda (Isle of Man) Limited, are pleased to announce the launch of Clubmail which takes the headache out of communications between clubs and their members through innovative use of email addresses.

Each club can obtain their own unique Isle of Man Internet address (domain name), i.e. RushenUtd.org.im, which can be used to host a website if required. In addition, each member will receive an individual club email address (i.e. james@peelgolfclub.org.im) which can be automatically forwarded to your usual e-mail address (i.e. james@hotmail.com). There is therefore no need for club members to set up a new Internet connection or change any existing email address. Club secretaries will have the added advantage of being able to notify all members with just one email.

“Whether it is national associations with clubs, clubs with members or captains with teams, Clubmail radically simplifies communication”, commented Jon Allen, Managing Director of Domicilium. “Just about everyone will have access to email somewhere whether it is work, home or at friends and neighbours. Clubmail can deliver messages to any forwarding address”.

Bank of Bermuda (Isle of Man) Limited have generously agreed to underwrite the cost for the first 100 clubs to register for this service, in addition each club will also receive 25 free individual email addresses (additional addresses only £1 each). Alan Smith, Managing Director of Bank of Bermuda (Isle of Man) Limited commented, "Through our sponsorship of the Clubmail scheme, we are further demonstrating our commitment to the success of local clubs and associations. Bank of Bermuda actively sponsor a number of local sporting clubs and events including the FA Cup and we believe that clubs and their members can benefit enormously from using the Clubmail service".
