How our AV and SPAM service works - Domicilium hosted email

Anti-Virus

Email is scanned by our state of the art virus scanning software which is automatically updated with any new definitions.  Viruses are then deleted before you download them.  

There is a monthly charge of £1.00 plus VAT for this service per individual email account or £10.00 plus VAT per domain name.  

SPAM

Option 1 

Email identified as potentially being SPAM are tagged "****SPAM****" in the subject line.

These SPAM emails can then be easily identified by yourself and perhaps either deleted following review or automatically quarantined using Rules in your email software.

There is a monthly charge of £1.00 plus VAT for this option per individual email account or £10.00 plus VAT per domain name.  

Option 2 

Email identified as SPAM are quarantined for 7 days and then automatically deleted by our servers. 

If you suspect an email has been quarantined in error then the email can be retrieved by our Helpdesk within the 7 days.

There is a monthly charge of £1.00 plus VAT for this option per individual email account or £10.00 plus VAT per domain name.  

Option 3 

Email identified as SPAM are quarantined to a quarantine mail box on our servers which you can then manage independent of ourselves.

Email in quarantine mail boxes are held for 7 days and then automatically deleted.

There is a monthly charge of £2.00 plus VAT for this option per individual email account or £11.00 plus VAT per domain name.  

Please note all the charges are in addition to any fees you may currently pay for mail hosting services.
