iPass charges
There is a small annual subscription per iPass account to cover administration. Apart from that you will only
be charged when you actually use iPass. The charges are:-
(1) Subscription -
For our existing Internet customers there is no subscription cost. However for
new customers who solely want an iPass account there is a subscription of $6 per month (subject to VAT at 17.5% if within the EU region) per account billed annually. Please note only one person can use any
one account username and password at any one time.
(2) When abroad you will be charged for a local rate phone call for the
amount of time you are connected to the Internet. You will be charged for
this call on your hotel bill or on your personal mobile phone bill (dependent on
how you connect to the internet). Please note that some hotels do
charge a high surcharge even when making local calls from your hotel room so
please check.
(3) iPass charge - There is an hourly rate charge dependent on the country in which you
are connecting. This is charged pro rata, for example, in USA it is
$2 for one hour therefore 30
minutes would be $1. The country charges depend
on whether you connect
through analogue
or ISDN or where available a
Wired or Wireless Broadband
connection. We pass these costs on to you at cost from iPass and provide a full breakdown each month analysing each call.
Note - All charges are in US$ and if you are paying by credit card they will be converted into your home currency by your credit card issuing company.
Billing
Each month we will notify you by email that the monthly invoice is available to review. Please check this carefully and contact us if you have any questions. The total amount of the invoice will be charged to your credit card on the 20th of each month.
