3.4 WIRELESS NETWORK NOW AVAILABLE

We are now able to offer fully resilient connectivity solutions delivered via our unique Wireless network. 

Customers can take advantage of the services for both primary and resilient connections without being limited by the restrictions and possible point of failure present with cable.

Companies increasingly have staff working remotely who need fast Internet access to the corporate network for file and systems access.   Where companies are already buying ISP services from ourselves we are in a position to offer a discounted cost ADSL service. This will allow you to reduce the cost of any services you pay for and provide a valuable zero cost staff benefit.

Customers can now sign up for iPass accounts via our website. 

Upon completing a short online registration form your login details will be sent to you immediately via email. These details can then be used in conjunction with the iPass software to provide secure access to the Internet in over 150 countries.

The login details also enable you to log into a secure section of our website to view and pay iPass usage bills online.

Wires only ADSL is now available in three different speed options. 

The standard 500 service with potential speeds of 512k downstream, the 1000 service which provides speeds of up to 1Mbit/s downstream and the 2000 service which provides speeds up to 2Mbit/s downstream. All of these can potentially provide speeds up to 256k upstream.

These services supply dynamic IP addressing (not available with fixed IP).

There are two elements to a Residential ADSL service, Manx Telecom (MT) supply the circuit and Domicilium the Internet Bandwidth. At present the IOM Government are paying the connection charge and first three months circuit rental. 

Prices for the two new options are as follows:

1000

MT monthly circuit rental cost of £27.03 inclusive of VAT (payable quarterly).

Domicilium monthly bandwidth cost of £22.33 inclusive of VAT.

Total monthly equivalent cost of £49.36.

2000

MT monthly circuit rental cost of £38.78 inclusive of VAT (payable quarterly).

Domicilium monthly bandwidth cost of £49.94 inclusive of VAT.

Total monthly equivalent cost of £88.72.

We are pleased to introduce a new alternative telephone service called Callkey.

Callkey basically provides a way of making low cost National and International calls. There is no need to change your existing phone service or sign any contracts, just use it as and when required. 

It has a number useful features including:

· Call recording facility
· The ability to make conference calls via your mobile
· Allows you to make phone calls through Microsoft Outlook Contacts
