Internet Service Provider, Domicilium (IOM) Limited formerly Advanced Systems Consultants are delighted that there was no knock-on effect to their customers in view of the work that was carried out by the Manx Electricity Authority which resulted in lengthy interruptions to the supply of electricity throughout most of Wednesday the 25th April to their Castletown Hosting Centre facilities.
Phil Adcock, Technical Director said “The interruption in our power supply was an effective test for our facilities and proved their resilience from external disruptions. Our disaster plans were designed to cope with such an eventuality and we were confident that no customers would be affected by the outage.”
Malcolm Williams, IT Manager of Castletown based Capital International Limited commented “In order to provide our customers with a quality service we are reliant on other providers. Our decision to use Domicilium as our internet service provider was fully justified as we experienced no service outages during the loss of power. Their failsafe systems operated as promised.”
Sales Manager, Robin Fallaize explained “The key to our success as an international standard hosting centre was being able to achieve and maintain 24x7 (24 hours a day 7 days a week) service.
