Update

Update is a secure web based application which provides a forum for the exchange of information on specific topics with authorised counter-parties through a web site.  At the outset you define the framework for the topics to be reported on and what the key events of interest are for each topic.

Once configured maintenance of both the content and allocation of passwords to users is managed by yourself through a simple administration site.  Access to each topic can be restricted to specific users.

The purpose of Update is to allow an originator to report to any number of users, about any number of topics and receive feedback from the users.  Providing a secure web based forum removes the availability restriction of telephone calls, the costs of long distance communications and the time involved with written correspondence.

Update is also a service.  Information provided on Update will almost certainly be confidential and security is a key concern.  In addition availability, reliability and performance are core quality issues for any web based service. Update is hosted on a powerful secure server protected by a firewall and encryption. The server is located in our state of the art hosting centre which has been constructed to meet the highest level of resilience.
