There is now just one level of ADSL (broadband) providing dynamic addressing
available.
This standard offering provides speeds of up to 2Mbit/s downstream and 256K upstream, however, this is dependent on your
home's location to the nearest exchange.
There is a contention ratio of 50:1 which means that up to 49 other users can potentially be using the same bandwidth allocation. This can in extreme circumstances cause a reduction in speed to the service. Customers receive complimentary email hosting with their own choice of
address at our domain name "@iom.com". We
can also provide SPAM
and Anti-Virus filtering solutions.
